Magenta Lips

I Love Magenta Lips. There is something about this Purplish hue that is Glamorous and Edgy. A Great Alternative to the Red Lip. A little more Punk with Lots of Sophistication. This is a Trend that always makes a Comeback every other Season. There is something about this Dark-Purple-Red Color that is Charming and Playful. Artistic and Creative. Magenta is Special and Pleasantly Unusual!

Cheeky Orange

A Huge Trend for Spring/Summer 2009 is the Color Orange on Cheeks. It is a Fantastic Alternative
to the More Familiar Pink Cheek. Orange is Sunny and Bright. It's Daring and Spicy. It Warms the Complexion, Perfect for the Very Hot Months Ahead of us. It's Easier to Wear than you think. Textures are Sheer and Shimmery, allowing the Color to be User Friendly and Realistic. Peach and Apricot are more Subtle but still a Great way to Wear this Trend. This Image displays the best way to Wear the Orange Cheek. Everything else is Polished and Clean allowing this Color to really Shine through.

i beg you...to have patience with everything unresolved in your heart and try to love the questions themselves as if they were locked rooms or books written in a very foreign language. don't search for the answers, which could not be given you now, because you would not be able to live them. and the point is, to live everything. live the questions now. perhaps then, someday far in the future, you will gradually, without ever noticing it, live your way into the answer...

Feeling Blue

One of the Biggest Trends for Spring/Summer 2009 is Color. For Make-up, it's the Color Blue on the Eyes. Navy Blue, Royal Blue, Baby Blue, etc,. Eyes are Smokey or Lined in this Beautiful Color.
The Key to having it look Current and Fresh is to keep the rest of the Face Subtle and Neutral. Treat Smokey Blue Eyes as your Main Accessory. Keep everything else Simple.

Blue is my Favorite Color. It's a feel Good Color.
It Represents Depth and Stability. Loyalty, Confidence, and Wisdom. Blue is Strongly Associated with Tranquility and Calmness. It Assures you that all is Beautiful and Hopeful. Such a Strong Color but Soft and Ethereal.

The Perfect Eyebrow

I Believe a Woman's Greatest Accessory is her Eyebrows. If Designed Well with Balance, it could make a Woman Standout and look her Absolute Best. Full and Lush. Well Groomed and a Picture Perfect Frame for the Face. I know a thing or two about The Perfect Eyebrow. It's my Business. I see about 50 to 60 Women a week, Helping them with the Care of their Brows. I Care for Every Eyebrow like they were my own. With Love and Passion.

First, an Eyebrow should never look like its Stamped on. Long gone are the days when the Brow looked too Perfect. There should be a Softness in the Lines of an Eyebrow.

Second, The Arch should Fall in the Right Place, where the Brow Bone is highest and after the Iris of the eye. Not sooner and not later. It should Hug the Bone making a Perfect Fit.

Third, They should start before they eye begins and end much after the eye ends. This gives the Arch Freedom to Complete Itself.

Fourth, The Brow should not be Too Round or Too Flat. It should be somewhere in the middle of the two, with no Abrupt Stops, just a Smooth Never Ending Flow.

Everyone has the Potential of having the Perfect Eyebrow. With the right amount of Love and Care, and the Right Professional, you too can have the Best Brow without ever looking like your trying too hard.

DIANE von FURSTENBERG

I Love The Wrap Dress. I must have Ten in My Closet. So Easy to Wear, Layer and Combine. I think of the Wrap Dress as the Frame for the Body. You can wear Boots, Heels and Sandals. Jewelry is much more Expressive with a Dress that is so Simple. Pragmatic and Practical. All Women of all Ages and Shapes can Enjoy The Wrap Dress. It's Effortless and Classic. Thanks to Diane Von Furstenburg who Created the First Jersey Wrap Dress in 1972(The Year I was Born). Belgium Born, came to America and had a Great Idea. Diane became an Overnight Sensation with her Design. She started Designing Wrap Tops, often worn by Ballerinas and then Converted the Top into a Dress. Diane has said that the Wrap Dress is Best Worn on a Curvier Woman. I often Feel that it was Made just for Me.....Thank You Diane!

Vintage Madonna #1

I was doing a little Research on the Net, looking for Pics on Beauty. Through my Searching I came across this Amazing Photo of Madonna. I have never seen this Image of her before. It is so Rare and Captivating to me. If you know me, you know that I Love Madonna. But I Especially Love Vintage Madonna. I see a Brave, Innocent, and "What the Heck I am I Doing" look in her Eyes that we just don't see anymore. Don't get me wrong, I Love all of Madonna. But it's the Early Years that Reminds Me that through all the Struggles and Getting Pushed Down, somewhere along the way, the only thing that really matters is Believing in Yourself.....

The Future Face

I love this Cover of Italian Vogue. It speaks volumes to me. It represents everything I Love in a Face. I believe that this will be the Future in Beauty and Fashion. Clean, Minimal and Very Essential. The Faces you see here, are a great example of a New Sophistication and Glamour. Bare and Honest. No traces of Sun Damage. Just Fresh and New. It is very appropriate that the name of this issue is called Evolution 2009. It says a lot......

Mariacarla, Cindy, and Gia

From the very moment this Model surfaced on the Runway, I have been following her every move. Mariacarla Boscono has a look that is both Exotic and Angelic. Her Trademark is her walk. Wow, can this girl strut! It is Fascinating to watch her and those Mesmerizing eyes! To me, Mariacarla has this Powerful Presence about her and has the ability to Stand Out over all the other girls. There has not been a Model more Magnetic and Mysterious since the early days of Cindy Crawford and Gia Garangi. Do you see a resemblence.....

The Perfect Color

I have searched high and low for the perfect Red Nail Color. Many are too dark, to pink, to brown and never seem to suit me. I have finally found the one color that represents me best. Its Geranium by Essie. One of the best Coral, Poppy Reds out there. Perfect for Spring/Summer. It looks great on your fingernails and on your toes. Because the Color is so Sunny, it can make you look Sun kissed. It is subtle but strong at the same time. Its a burst of energy! It makes me happy! Whenever I wear it, I get lots of compliments. Geranium is one of my best accessories. I simply wear it alone because it's all I need to feel good!

Make-Up Evolution

I had the pleasure to take part in a great Two Day Make-up Class this weekend and it rocked! Covering looks from the Egyptians to the 1920's to present and Forecasting Trends ahead. History is so important to be able to learn about the future. It's amazing how much we have progressed. It just seems so fascinating how we keep improving and evolving. I left today feeling inspired and stronger as an Artist. It has been a while since I felt this revived.......I really needed it.....Thank you!
