Carmen Boni was born 1901 in Rome and had a career in the Italian Cinema in the mid-1920s and onwards. Many successful films were made by Carmen Boni and she became the European equivalent to Clara Bow. A gift for acting, she had an ability to transform herself with a natural comedic ease and then back to serious emotion. Ahead of her time, she was admired for her modern type of beauty. She died tragically in 1963 in Paris by a reckless driver.
